Finally! You get used to having internet and it is so hard to go without it. Ours was finally hooked up today. We got here to our new house July 8th. I love it. I love our neighborhood. I love how green it is. I love our backyard. I love my master bathroom. What I don't love is how hectic everything is. I have so much still to unpack. Our new flooring won't be done until August 5th. I have so much to do and not enough time to do it all. Shirley is sick again. He had a little cold last week that looked like it was going to go away without his asthma acting up,but them Rilla gave him a piece of milk chocolate Saturday night (we did smores) and he had a major allergic reaction ( I took the chocolate out of his mouth as quickly as I could but he still swallowed some of it). The first symptom was his breathing. He started coughing and wheezing and it hasn't gone away. He is back on two nebulizer treatments and prednisolone (and he hates the nebulizer treatments now). He has already woke up once tonight. Hopefully we will get it under control or I will have to get him a doctor's appointment and I haven't picked a doctor yet (we have to be seen off post because they don't have room on post). I know school will be starting again in a few weeks and I am not ready. I am enjoying my time with my kids so much and will miss Walter and Jem. School here is an hour longer than it was in Arizona and I am sad about that. Anyway, I will try and get caught up on all we have done and pictures of my house ( at least parts that are done)soon. Now I need to go to bed. Shirley woke up before 6AM this morning because of his coughing and I have a feeling I will be up at least once or twice tonight. I hope he sleeps in a little later though.
Here is a turtle that Gil found while running in our neighborhood. The kids loved it. When Gil took it back to where he found it Jem cried because he only got to say goodbye to it once.

Dinosaur Museum!
When we found out there was a dinosaur museum here, we knew we had to go. Jem loves dinosaurs. It was a half hour drive to get there, but was well worth it. The kids had a blast. It wasn't very big, but plenty big for children. They had a hands on activity center for the kids, that the kids really enjoyed.I even enjoyed all of it.

Colorado!
Sorry, I am way behind on blogging. The last couple of weeks before we moved out of our house in Ft. Huachuca were so busy. Packing almost everything myself (Gil helped when he could) was a lot of work. When I was sick of it I just had to remind myself of how much money we were making. Our Pods were picked up on the the 24th of June and we cleared housing the 25th. I should have given myself 2 days for the cleaning. There wasn't a lot to do, but what I had to do (like baseboards and walls) was very time consuming. We rented a trailer for our stuff we didn't put in our Pods. After clearing housing we got to spend 2 days with my friends Teah and Melissa (when we weren't at our hotel). That was fun. Gil graduated on Friday the 26th. We left the 27th and drove the whole day to get to my sister's house in Colorado. That is where we are now. It has been fun to relax and have fun. We will leave Monday for Fort Campbell. We will get there earlier in the day on Wednesday and will get to move into our new house. I am very excited.

Up!
A couple of weeks ago we took our kids to the movies to see "Up". We decided to see it in 3D. It was so cool. I have never watched a 3D movie before. I loved it. Rilla wouldn't keep the glasses on but she still seemed to enjoy it. Walter and Jem loved it. Shirley could have cared less. I forgot how not fun it is to take a toddler to a movie. He did like the scenes with dogs in them (he loves dogs) but that was all. Next time he will not be going.

We're Buying a House!
For those of you who don't know, we are PCSing (Permanent Change of Station) to Fort Campbell, Kentucky at the end of the month. When I found out the housing wait time for us on post was 2-4 months. I started looking for a place to buy in Clarksville, Tennessee (Fort Campbell is located on the border of Kentucky and Tennessee). After over a month of looking I didn't think we were going to find a house we really liked. Then we found the one we are going to buy. I missed it during my numerous MLS searches because it was less that any other house I was interested in. The sellers dropped the price 6,500 dollars to sell it quickly (since they were about to move- They are military, too). We have an awesome real estate agent who went to so many homes for us and took tons of pictures. The biggest thing that attracted us to this place first were all of the trees. We love the trees. Here is our house from the front.
It is a 1700 sq ft, 4 bedroom ranch home. It has a huge fenced in backyard with lots of trees.
It has a fireplace in the living room and to the left is the dining room. Continuing through the dining room you enter the kitchen.
As you can probably tell, the dining room has carpet. We are going to take out the carpet in the dining room, living room, and hall and put in laminate floors. We were going to put in wood floors but then discovered that laminate floors look like real wood but are much more durable (we got samples and tested the durability ourselves). Now to the kitchen. I don't really like it. It is too small. It has very little cupboard space. It is smaller than my current one and I don't have enough room for all of my stuff. This almost made me not consider buying the home, but I love everything else so I tried thinking of how I could make it bigger. I am going to extend the kitchen towards the window by the back door (one of two back doors to our deck) and create a breakfast bar at the end. Then there will be enough room for an island. The sellers recently put new tile in the kitchen and had some left over in the garage, so it will be easy to fix the gap in the floor that will be left.
The first picture is of the living room from the dining room. To the right of the living room is the hall to the 4 bedrooms and main bath. The master bath is huge and has a nice master bath. My favorite part of it is the Garden tub. The mint green paint in the bedroom is very ugly, I think, but we are going to be painting most of the house anyway. I am excited to pick out colors.
We are very excited. I am very happy that I know where we will be living and don't have to stress about where we were going to live. Now I can enjoy my last 2 1/2 weeks here. I am packing (we are moving ourselves-using PODS) but I started several weeks ago and am doing a little very day, which makes it much easier and less overwhelming. The PODS will arrive next Monday and I will have a week and a half to pack them before I am having them picked up. Then the company will drive them to Nashville and deliver them to our new house.

Father/Son Camp out!
Last weekend our Stake (church organization) had their annual Father/Son Camp out. The boys love going camping with their Dad. This year they had so much fun. On Saturday they even got to do rock climbing. Gil really enjoyed that. He was able to use his rock climbing gear that he has bought in the last year.

Pretty Pretty Princess!
The Pretty Pretty Princess game was given to us by a friend with older daughters that is moving. I got it out to play with Rilla and she loved it. Walter even joined us. Jem watched but had no desire to join in. I am so glad I have a girl and get to play girly games with her.
